The Meaning Behind There’s Always Gonna Be Something

Kelly Jones, the band’s lead vocalist and guitarist, offered insight into the album’s lead track. There’s Always Gonna Be Something is a deeply reflective song, with Kelly explaining that it represents “the restlessness in uncertainty, struggling to arrive at acceptance—a part within all of us.” This theme of personal struggle and emotional perseverance resonates with listeners, reinforcing the raw and introspective nature of the album.

The Inspiration Behind the Album’s Art

Kelly Jones also shared the inspiration for the album’s cover art, which features a striking pink design. He recounted a recent visit to New York, where he encountered a piece of art by Louise Bourgeois with the message, “ART IS A GUARANTY OF SANITY.” The simplicity and the spelling of the phrase caught his attention, and it resonated with him deeply. Inspired by his own experiences with art and his long-time admiration for minimalist styles, Kelly decided to incorporate these elements into the album’s cover. The result is a vibrant pink artwork that mirrors the album’s themes of emotional healing and introspection.

In addition to the album’s release, Stereophonics will be hitting the road for their Stadium Anthems tour, which will include two major performances at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on July 11 and 12.
